Ayodhya is set to witness a major national spectacle as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to hoist a 191-foot saffron flag atop the spire of the Ram Temple on Tuesday, November 25. The ceremony marks the anniversary of the completion of significant construction milestones at the grand shrine, a symbol of centuries-old cultural and religious sentiment.
After hoisting the saffron flag atop the shikhar of the Ayodhya Ram Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the gathering, stating that the ceremony marked the fulfilment of a civilisational resolve preserved for 500 years.
With the event approaching, the temple town has already recorded a substantial rise in pilgrim inflow. Authorities expect both domestic and international visitors to converge in large numbers, adding to the spiritual and historic weight of the occasion. Enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements are being put in place to accommodate the surge.
The flag hoisting is poised to become one of Ayodhya’s most notable moments since the temple’s inauguration, reinforcing its position as a global centre of faith and heritage.
