Lucknow (FNO): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pankaj Chaudhary was on Saturday named the new BJP President of Uttar Pradesh, marking a key organisational change ahead of upcoming political challenges in the state.
The announcement was made in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, along with senior party leaders and workers.
Party officials said the appointment reflects the BJP’s focus on strengthening its organisational structure in the country’s most politically significant state. Chaudhary is expected to play a crucial role in coordinating the party’s strategy, mobilising cadres, and steering preparations for future elections.
Leaders present at the event expressed confidence that Chaudhary’s leadership would further consolidate the party’s base in Uttar Pradesh and ensure smooth coordination between the government and the organisation.
