In a significant counter-terror operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested an American national at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport in Kolkata, along with six Ukrainian nationals from Lucknow and Delhi. The arrests are linked to an alleged international conspiracy involving extremist activities with possible cross-border implications.

The case has drawn serious attention from intelligence agencies due to the involvement of a foreign national and suspected international connections.
